In the end I bought a kowa b&h and few clamps from redstan. I cam for the bokeh and the flares but I stayed for the chromatic aberrations and the barrel distortion.

that being said, I think the most sensible investment right now would be to get an used fs700 or used blackmagic ursa mini 4.6k That depends on individual needs.

What an excellent tool ML is! I find it extremely telling and important, that the latest nightly for the majority of cam brands now has been around for something like 8 weeks. The software is sleek, has a very modets footprint in-cam, and yet provides us with an insane amount of possibilities - and the amount of combinations is staggering. At some point I'd like to know exactly how many copies of each nightly for every camera people have downloaded. I am sure, the numbers will tell a tale of a resounding succes and an extremely important addition to the craft of photography and film making. Along with the brilliant inventors of Leicas, Nikons, Canons, Contax'es, Rolleis et cetera, you fine programmers and engineers really belong in the Photography/Cinematography Hall of Fame. Thank you so much for ML. And a happy Easter...

I have been thinking the same kind of words myself many time. I am now feeling guilty of not having shared them earlier.
Since the first time i loaded magic lantern on my 6D, it was like almost a revolution. I honestly feel like i'm owning a huge debt to the developer behind this MARVELOUS piece of software engineering!

Dobule focus pull made with the 55mm f/2, close ups with the 135mm f/2.5, random shots at the end with the 50mm f/1.4
Flares test of the:
50mm f/1.4
55mm f/2
85mm f/1.9
135mm f/2.5

Recorded at 1600x1200 with Magic Lantern, blown up to UHD at  3840x1440

Edited and slightly colored in Resolve 12.5 Rendered to h264 in after effect

Looking at that page I only see 14-bit DNG (Magic Lantern RAW) under the listing for the 5D3, not the 5D4

I actually sent them an E-mail about it, and they changed it ^__^

Do they know something we don't? As far as I know, magic lantern it's not coming to the 5D4 anytime soon

I just wanted to say, regarding using the cinestyle profile, I found out that when shooting raw with magic lantern it doesn't really matter with profile you are using because it will not affect the data you will work with.

Cinestyle only gets applied to the footage if shooting h264.
