I specialise in long term Time-Lapse construction projects and use Canons with a programmable controller in a solar powered waterproof enclosure. Just wanting to know ML can be programmed to start shooting from 7:00 for 1 /2 / 5 or 10  minute intervals for a 12hour duration every day or even weekdays (stopping at 19:00 hrs). I.E. only shoot during daylight hours. and keep doing this until the card is full or swapped out?
Should be do-able with the cameras 24hr clock etc.

I would never rely on cam firmware to make things running like that. Always prefer to use dedicated controller with watchdog logic implemented.

Technically this is possible using a script, assuming you are using an external power supply (camera must remain powered on the whole time), however I agree with Walter. If the camera shuts off or locks up for any reason you are SOL. ML can't wake the camera or recover from crashes.
